At last, the AFL announced the awarding of the eighth franchise, to Boston. There was no stadium deal as yet. And now, with full slate of teams, final preparations for the draft could be completed. The draft would consist of 40 rounds and the first 11 picks for each team would have to include four backs, two ends, two tackles, two guards, and a center.
