In a pattern that would repeat itself several times over the course of the season, Parilli came in at quarterback following a play in which Flores was hit or tackled. Rarely, if ever, was there evidence that Flores had been hurt on the play, so it's possible that Erdelatz had a thing about not letting his quarterback stay in after a physical play, but I don't know that, either.
