  * The //Tribune// reported that Packers coach Vince Lombardi was laying claim to the rights to Raiders tight end [[Jan Barrett]]. The Raiders had signed Barrett off Green Bay’s taxi squad in 1963, ending the Packers’ hold on him, but Lombardi, according to the story, said Barrett had been merely “loaned” to the Raiders and was demanding his return.
