  * Following up on yesterday’s publication of the story that wide receiver [[Art Powell]] had requested that he be traded to the [[Bills]] for fullback Cookie Gilchrist, Buffalo coach Lou Saban said he had no intention of trading Gilchrist and that any negotiating would be done with Oakland general manager [[Al Davis]], not a player. Davis also said he wasn’t interested in making such a trade.
