March 3 - Contract awarded to Oakland by AFL. Dallas had traded for him with Minneapolis/St Paul and signed him in December. The league quickly decided that Dallas would retain his rights and compensation would be provided to Oakland at some point. That compensation arrived in December in the form of Jack Stone.
