Former Raiders head coach/general manager and AFL commissioner Al Davis returned to the team in the role of managing general partner. Joining Ed McGah and Wayne Valley in the general partnership, Davis said he would exert his authority from there rather than reclaim a general manager or head coach role.
After announcing the switch of Wayne Hawkins from right guard to left guard a couple of days ago, head coach John Rauch named George Flint the starter at right guard for the game against the Chargers on the 13th.
