The coaches made several lineup decisions for tomorrow's game against the Oilers: Pete Banaszak at halfback in place of holdout Clem Daniels, Glenn Bass in place of Fred Biletnikoff at wide receiver, Lionel Taylor in place of Bill Miller at the other wideout spot, Bill Laskey in place of JR Williamson at linebacker, Billy Cannon in place of Tom Mitchell at tight end, and Dainard Paulson at safety in place of Warren Powers. Rookie guard Gene Upshaw would also make his debut in the game.
