• The team submitted a letter of intent to Stadium, Inc., saying they would be willing to lease the proposed Oakland stadium for 25 years from the date of expected occupancy.
• Stadium, Inc. head RT Nahas said having a facility ready for the 1964 season was “a good possibility.”
