Quarterback Roman Gabriel dropped his lawsuit against the Raiders, Rams, and NFL and he was expected to join the Rams in camp. Raiders general manager Scotty Stirling said his team was happy with their quarterback situation and would no longer pursue Gabriel.

Former Raiders guard Marv Marinovich joined the team for camp as a weight room instructor.

Safety Gerald Warfield left training camp voluntarily.
