AFL commissioner Joe Foss was in Oakland and met with co-owner Wayne Valley and general manager Al Davis in a thirty-minute closed-door meeting. Among the topics was the Tony Lorick. While none of the parties gave a detailed account of the meeting, Valley, in particular, said the team hadn't given up on pursuing Lorick's services through the legal system.
