The Raiders announced ticket prices for the team's inaugural season in the new Oakland Coliseum. Tickets for reserved sideline seats were $5.50 per game or $38.50 for the season. For reserved upper bowl seats in each end zone, the price was $4.50 for a single game or $31.50 for the season. General seating in the lower end zones were $3.00 per seat.

Transactions

The Raiders hired Bob Halford to be director of promotions sometime shortly before this date.
