Linebacker JR Williamson was placed on injury waivers after suffering an ankle injury against the Jets on the 3rd. Bill Laskey would take his place in the lineup.

Bill Budness was returned to the starting lineup, replacing Dan Conners, who left last week's game with a knee injury.

The Raiders activated Ray Schmautz from the injured list.
