The team's desire to use Cal's stadium met with rejection from nearly everyone north of the Oakland city line, including the Berkeley City Council and Chamber of Commerce, but the Oakland folks were still plugging away. Next up was a presentation tomorrow to the Cal Board of Regents, with everyone from the team's owners to the top executives of the city of Oakland and Alameda County to various Oakland business leaders making their plea.
