The Raiders signed Louisiana College linebacker Dennis Duncan. He had been the team's 12th round pick in the 1965 AFL redshirt draft and had played for the CFL Toronto Argonauts last season.

They also signed Grambling free agent cornerback Lawrence Chambers on or before this date.
