Following up on yesterday’s publication of the story that wide receiver Art Powell had requested that he be traded to the Bills for fullback Cookie Gilchrist, Buffalo coach Lou Saban said he had no intention of trading Gilchrist and that any negotiating would be done with Oakland general manager Al Davis, not a player. Davis also said he wasn’t interested in making such a trade.
