News

The Raiders and the Broncos met in Denver and settled for a 20-20 tie.

Cotton Davidson was nursing a sore ankle and did not play except as a holder for placekicks so Tom Flores started at quarterback.

Transactions

Prior to the game the Raiders signed three of their picks in yesterday's draft: Memphis State tackle Harry Schuh (1st round), Missouri linebacker Gus Otto (4th round), and Utah State defensive tackle Rich Zecher.

They also signed Arizona State halfback Larry Todd, their first pick in the redshirt draft conducted after the 20 rounds of the regular draft.
