News

The Raiders dropped their fourth game in a row, losing 20-14 to the Patriots in Boston.

In a game-time decision, head coach Al Davis decided to start Tom Flores at quarterback.

Cotton Davidson played one snap at quarterback and scored on a rollout play.

Bo Roberson was shifted from flanker to halfback and Dobie Craig got the start at receiver.

The Raiders committed six turnovers.

Injury Updates

Halfback Clem Daniels again played sparingly because of his thigh injury.

Defensive end Jon Jelacic sprained his knee and defensive tackle Chuck McMurtry reinjured his ankle.

No timeline was given for either player's return.
