The Patriots beat the Raiders, 24-21, in Boston.

Injury Updates

Quarterback Tom Flores was “knocked cold” in the first quarter by Boston's Bob Dee and Larry Eisenhauer after releasing a pass. No penalty was called on the play and Cotton Davidson finished the contest under center for Oakland.

Defensive back Willie Williams suffered a “minor sprain” in his right ankle.
