News

The Raiders lost to the Bills, 12-0, in Buffalo.

It was their third-straight loss and their first shutout loss since falling to the Chargers, 44-0, in the second game of the 1961 season.

Dick Klein started the game at right tackle but was replaced by Ollie Spencer in the second half.

Halfback Clem Daniels played but his lingering thigh injury forced him to limited duty.

Cotton Davidson started at quarterback and was lifted for Tom Flores with a minute to play in the third quarter.

Jackie Simpson started at linebacker ahead of Bob Dougherty.

Buffalo's Bill Miller caught 12 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown.

Injury Updates

Fullback Glenn Shaw suffered a hip pointer in the game.
