News

The Tribune’s George Ross reported that Chiefs’ head coach Hank Stram was trying to talk quarterback Cotton Davidson into ending his playing career and joining Kansas City’s coaching staff, though the efforts hadn’t yet borne fruit.

The team signed a three-year broadcast rights deal with KDIA Radio that doubled the reach of the network from seven to fourteen stations. The money part of the deal was not reported.
