Quest for players

AFL assistant commissioner Milt Woodard said the league would craft a plan for stocking the Oakland team at the league meetings starting tomorrow. He also confirmed that signing rights to all the Minneapolis/St Paul draftees were transferred to Oakland, including players that had been signed by other AFL teams in the interim.

Assistant coach hired

The team hired San Jose State assistant Marty Feldman to coach the defensive line.

Other stuff

Commissioner Foss said the league schedule would be completed in couple of weeks. Trib columnist Alan Ward predicts tomorrow night's dinner will be a grand success.
