The Raiders beat the Broncos, 28-20, in Denver. Tom Flores started the game at quarterback for the first time in a month, but had to leave in favor of Dick Wood because of a tired arm.

Guard Wayne Hawkins left the game after a blow to the head and was replaced by the recently re-activated Bob Mischak. Defensive back Warren Powers left the game with an injury as well and was replaced by Joe Krakoski.
