- Art Powell caught a team record 11 passes in the Raiders' 24-10 win over the Patriots in Boston.
Injury Updates
- Defensive tackle Dave Costa left the game in the first quarter with an ankle injury. He was taken to a local hospital for x-rays, which proved negative.
- Linebacker Dick Hermann left the game after a blow to the head, but he was expected to be able to play against the Jets on the 16th.
- Fullback Alan Miller left the game in the fourth quarter because of a flare-up of his stomach ulcer.
- Guard Wayne Hawkins suffered a bruised thigh in the second quarter, but stayed in the game.
