Art Powell caught a team record 11 passes in the Raiders' 24-10 win over the Patriots in Boston.

Head coach Al Davis put Billy Cannon in the starting lineup at tight end ahead of Ken Herock.

Injury Updates

Defensive tackle Dave Costa left the game in the first quarter with an ankle injury. He was taken to a local hospital for x-rays, which proved negative.

Linebacker Dick Hermann left the game after a blow to the head, but he was expected to be able to play against the Jets on the 16th.

Fullback Alan Miller left the game in the fourth quarter because of a flare-up of his stomach ulcer.

Guard Wayne Hawkins suffered a bruised thigh in the second quarter, but stayed in the game.
