News

• On a cold, wet afternoon in Buffalo, the Raiders suffered their worst defeat of the season, going down 38-9 to the Bills

Babe Parilli spelled Tom Flores at quarterback early in the contest and led the team to its only touchdown, but otherwise neither player looked particularly good

• Buffalo quarterback Johnny Green, who made his Bills debut just a week ago, gashed the Raiders secondary for four touchdown passes, all over 20 yards

• Halfback Tony Teresa, expected to be back at full strength after recovering from a back injury, had come down with the flu and didn’t see much action after all
